Marketing develop new interactive web page services
for the Spanish Association of Industrial Pharmacists

– After the exceptional response
to the page that R&A Marketing designed last
summer for the AEFI,
the Association has once again entrusted our agency
with the interactive development of new services
for its users. R&A Marketing is already working
on this new project, which will maintain the attractive
and intuitive design that has already achieved so
much success among its users.
Included in these new services, which are planned
to be incorporated into the page before the end
of this year, are: an employment section where members
will be able to view or publish employment offers,
a conference section where members of the association
will be able to consult the agenda of events and
carry out their enrolment online, and a virtual
classroom offering the possibility of carrying out
courses by means of e-learning.
The aforementioned will contain separate work areas
for the different sections of the Association, and
a space where the users will be able to publish
their articles and works. R&A Marketing has
designed a powerful administration tool for this
space, where AEFI
personnel can update and manage all the contents
of the page with complete security and independence.
This ambitious project will complete the services
that AEFI
is already providing through the Internet, by including
a general section about the statutes and history
of the Association, an information section about
courses, with the possibility of carrying these
out online, a legal section, as well as spaces allocated
for publications and news.

for the maintenance of its gtbi.net web site

– R&A Marketing signed a contract
with the Spanish company GTBibérica, S.L
agreeing to the maintenance, updating and addition
of new contents and services to its website gtbi.net.
GTBibérica, S.L., a company specialising
in the distribution of photogrammetry equipment
and systems and in GIS and cartography consultancy
and engineering services, will provide its clients,
through this agreement with R&A Marketing, with
a series of valuable services through the use of
the Internet.
Gtbi.net,
a page developed last year by R&A Marketing,
already provides a series of services, such as online
downloads of manuals, software updates, and technical
documentation about products. Through this new contract,
the services will be expanded developing the private
area of the page, with a client only access.
R&A Marketing is one of the few Spanish agencies
that can rely on genuine experience in the development
of online campaigns and projects in the GIS and
cartography sector, counting on an extensive client
base in this market. Among the main projects carried
out in this sector we can highlight mappinginteractivo
com, the digital version of the magazine Mapping,
with an average of 400.000 hits per month; or egeocampus.com,
the first e-learning earth science site aimed at
the Spanish speaking market.

Mappinginteractivo.com
achieves a record number of more than 350,000
hits in September |
October 2003
– The site mappinginteractivo.com,
the digital edition of Mapping
magazine produced by R&A Marketing,
registered a historic new record, surpassing 352,000
hits in the last month and a huge improvement of
more than 20,000 hits on the last record in May.
The increasing acceptance shown by the number of
Earth Science specialists that navigate the contents
of Mappinginteractivo.com is supported by the paper
edition called Mapping magazine, a prestigious publication
that has been in the market for over 10 years.
With a daily average of 11,000 hits, mappinginteractivo.com
secures its position as the leading informative
earth science magazine targeting the Spanish speaking
market. As a bimonthly publication, the content
is centred on the latest updates from fields such
as cartography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS),
teledetection, and environment related sectors.
The statistics analysis for September shows a significantly
large number of hits from Latin American Countries
and this has been a regular occurrence since this
site was created. The largest number of visits from
the South American continent was from Mexico, a
country that, at present, generates 15% of the sites
traffic. The analysis also indicates a significant
number of visits from countries such as, Uruguay,
Peru, Colombia, Chile and Argentina.
Analysing the times the site is visited, one can
see that the rush hour is at 6pm, registering more
than 25,000 hits throughout the month. From this
time onwards the number of hits remains elevated
until dawn (more than 18,000 visits per hour). This
analysis shows that the hits registered in the time
span from 12pm-6am represent 23% of the total traffic,
which confirms the volume of interest from South
American countries.
In the months ahead, the aim of mappinginteractivo.com
is to maintain its leadership in this sector, providing
a high quality content and new services in each
edition.

Marketing design the new AEFI web page |

- R&A Marketing’s Web Page Department
has designed and produced a new site for the Spanish
Association of Industrial Pharmacists (AEFI): www.aefi.org
R&A Marketing have created, for the AEFI, a
considerably more modern and functional web page
than the previous one, adapting it to the modern
era without leaving to one side the image and logo
that is traditionally identified with this Association.
The new www.aefi.org
consists of six main sections under the following
titles: General Topics, Pharmaceutical Legislation,
Publications, Courses and Events, Directory of Associates
and Links. Also a private access is available, in
which each user must have a username and password.
Another important new feature on the web is the
use of an extensive and complete user-friendly database
with the objective of offering the maximum information
possible to the user.
The Spanish Association of Industrial Pharmacists
is a non-profit making organisation which brings
together graduates and doctors in Pharmacy and Doctors
and University graduates working in, or those connected
with, this industry. It is aimed at promoting the
social, technical and scientific development of
its members and ensuring the strict observance of
a professional code of conduct.

Ibérica entruts its web page to R&A

- GTB Iberica, a supplier of photogametric systems
and equipment, has entrusted R&A Marketing with
the creation and maintenance of its web page www.gtbi.net.
R&A Marketing has put a lot of effort into producing
a corporate site that, as well as offering all the
necessary information about the company and its
products, is extremely useful and easy to navigate
for the final user.
R&A Marketings’ web creation department
has structured the GTB Iberica page in different
sections, each of which is accompanied by various
images and photos making reading more pleasant and
the content of the explanations clearer. These are
two essential characteristics in this new medium
of communication called the internet. The above
mentioned sections include the following:
· Who we are: Contains information
about the company. Its purpose and objectives.
· News: Here is all the
interesting news that GTB Iberica wishes to reach
the general public, for example, new product or
version launches, alliances, etc.
· Products: Provides technical
files about products (characteristics, advantages,
etc.)
· Services: This section
is divided into two areas: cartography and GIS.
· Downloading of presentations,
relevant documents, technical information, corporate
documents, etc.
· Restricted access for clients only
(it is necessary to introduce user name and password).
· And finally, the most
important in all web pages, the contact
information, data, links and the possibility
of changing the web language (Spanish or Portuguese
in the case of GTB Iberica).

Marketing's new agreement with FieleNet Iberia |

- R&A marketing and FileNet Iberia www.filenet.com
have an agreement in which R&A Marketing has
agreed to provide FileNet Iberia with services in
the areas of telemarketing, design and public relations.
R&A Marketing’s telephone operators will
be at the service of FileNet to undertake various
telephone campaigns, the intention being to contact
all the partners and clients of this multinational
leader of Administration Solutions for Corporate
Content (ECM) and to ensure their presence at conferences
and meetings organised by the company. The above-mentioned
meetings will take place next June.
Another of the departments, whose work will be essential
to the agreement held with FileNet Iberia, is the
R&A Marketing Studio, which provides the services
of creation, design and web page maintenance. In
this instance, the studio has produced various leaflets
for FileNet, in line with the company’s corporate
image.
And finally, the public relations department, which
is responsible for carrying out and managing the
relations between FileNet and the media. This department
will send to the media the respective press dossiers
with information about the company. Also R&A
Marketing will edit the press statements that the
company wish to make public and ensure that they
are seen in specialised magazines and web pages
in the sector.

client, Worldnet 21, one of the first companies
to use Spanish technology created in April 1999
that is devoted to the development and integration
of products and services using the net.
R&A Marketings’ Public Relations department
is in charge of taking care of Worldnet 21s’
media relations (production of press statements,
their follow up, press dossiers containing information
about the company and its products, etc.).

- One of the most recent tasks carried out by R&A
Marketing’s web creation department is centred
around the development of the web page for Diversicard,
a company which has been manufacturing and marketing
plastic cards since 1992.
R&A Marketing has designed a simple page for
Diversicard, its prime task being to provide easy
navigation and a speedy information search. Using
this web, for example, you can check out the different
phases of plastic card production.
The other sections which make up www.diversicard.com
address the following topics: applications, components,
personalization and services, accessories and complements,
machines and consumer products and, lastly, information
about other products commercialised by the company.
Finally, it should be mentioned that this web page
offers the client a very useful additional service:

AUJEP (JD Edwards
Users Association), founded in the year 2000 with
the intention of serving its associates as a channel
to explain, inform and participate in issues related
to JD Edwards Software, chose R&A Marketing
to develop their web page.
Using this page, visitors can get to know the association,
join as a user, find out the latest news concerning
the affairs carried out and receive information
about courses, conferences, round tables, etc. organised
continually by the association for the associates.
Also, the web page has a private access area, where
the users receive a personalised treatment and have
available informative files, the possibility to
join interest groups formed by professionals of
the same sector, meetings, associate listings, latest
news, etc.
The web page, presented during one of the last meetings,
has been well accepted and has been converted into
an important and interesting tool for communications
and exchanges.
